My name is Qing Ye, I have been in Toronto for one year. I was a home texture designer in China, however, I want to be a chef after coming to Canada. It is a really big challenge for me because I had never cooked one years ago. The reason why I changed direction of my future career because I was missing my hometown food, unfortunately, I could not find it in Toronto. One day, I tried to cook hometown food by myself. Finally, I succeed after trying many times, and I received a lot praises from the people who ate it, I feel so happy and successful. As a foreigner in Canada, I want to create dish which can bring the hometown tastes for me and my love, also for a lot people who are missing their hometown food. I believe that a good chef not only needs cook delicious food but also can satisfy the requirements of customers. I have to improve my cooking skill if i want to be a chef, ,that why I take culinary program, and I also hope this blog can document a growth of my cooking. |
